Thileria is adisease affect cattle characterized by high fever and corneal opacity
Name : Thileriasis or Thileriosis
Cause : thileria species
Signs : high and persistent fever
Enlargement of the lymph nodes
Corneal opacity
Cough
Off food
Diagnosis :
From clinical sugns mentined above
And labaratory diagnosis
Blood film stsined by Giemsa stain or leishman stain
Treatment :
Antipyretic
Antiblood parasites " Butalex ,butaject, thilecure, avicone .... or any other antiblood parasite drugs
Dosage : 1 ml /20 kg body weight
2 Doses interval 48 hours
Prevention :
Eridaction of ticks in animals and premises
